    • How about a 600 horsepower four-seat Alfa Romeo GTV with torque vectoring?

Alfa Romeo is bringing another name plate back as a high performance vehicle. Say hello to the GTV which aims for 600 horsepower and all wheel drive with an impressive 50/50 weight distribution. Name a high performance all wheel drive four-seater on the market with 50/50 weight distribution.

You can't. This would be better than what BMW aimed to achieve with the new F90 M5 and likely lighter as well.

Will they pull it off? We'll see but Alfa Romeo certainly is getting ambitious and serious about high performance.

The GTV was last sold back in 2006 only in Europe and was rear wheel drive. It also was hardly a high performance car.

I assume this will be based on the Giulia, they already have the 50/50 weight distribution there plus the all wheel drive as well. Pop in the engine from the Quadrifoglio and it's a good recipe. Add Italian styling and you should have a real winner.

I imagine though that they will rather target the M4 / C63 Coupé than the M5/M8 with this.

I would think this would be positioned above the Giulia.
