    • The new hardcore Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and GTAm models with 221 less pounds and 533 horses

Yes! Now this is how you get our attention Alfa Romeo. The Giulia Quadrifoglio is a great car but reports of reliability issues combined with it being somewhat dated now in the segment contribute to it being partially forgotten or at least left behind.

Well, let's welcome the Giulia back with open arms as the GTA and GTAm models are how it's done. Why couldn't you start like this Alfa Romeo?

They striped out over 220 pounds. The rear seats are deleted with the GTAm version which adds a roll cage. Alfa Romeo widened the fenders for some serious rubber.

You get 533 horsepower now out of the 2.9 liter V6 but it is still paired to the same automatic. No dual clutch or manual option.

With the revised suspension, aerodynamics, wider track, Akrapovic exhaust, etc., Alfa Romeo clearly built a hardcore performance Giulia for the racetrack.

The production is limited to 500 units and Alfa Romeo is evaluating bringing the model to the USA. If they do, it will not be cheap or easy to get.

This is what the Giulia Quadrifoglio should be Alfa Romeo. You may just have built a better M3 than BMW does today.

That Civic Type R wing is killing me. The rest of the car looks fantastic though.

Would love to see the GTAm run against a GT350 R on a track

The wing and tacked on fenders are pretty awful for a car at this price point. I'm sure they'll sell, though.

I like the design of the wing in particular and would love to see it in other colors.

Surprised so many people don't like the bodywork.

Guarantee you'd love it in black!

It looks like something in a video game that couldn't pay to license an real car. All the add-ons look like an afterthought simply stuck on to make it 'racey' and don't work with the underlying design.

I respectfully disagree. To each their own. I think they executed this well.
